To mark the occasion, step inside our historic premises where your guide will introduce our world-class exhibition. Encounter gold nuggets, touch a bullion bar worth more than AUD 1 million, and view some of the most famous coins and medals ever made in Australia. You can even get up close to a colossal one tonne 99.99% pure gold coin which won the title of the ‘largest coin’ by Guinness World Records.

Your guide will then demonstrate a traditional gold pour in the original melting house. It’s an awe-inspiring spectacle as molten gold is transformed into a gleaming gold bar right before your eyes.

Having enjoyed the tour, step outside and take part in our fun lawn games, snap all your favourite selfies with our photo props and other kids’ activities across the summer period through to January 28^th.
